Spinach season has started! My parents summer garden is full of spinach, so I invent new dishes using spinach for every day. For example, the day before yesterday I made mashed potatoes with bacon, spinach, green beans and mushrooms (champignons). And yesterday I made his pie for dinner, yum! Remaining spinach I used for my child`s meatballs, the recipe will be later :)
Fresh spinach does not have such a strong specific smell as frozen one, but frozen spinach can also be used for this recipe. Any favorite vegetables can be added to pie. Spinach is very healthy and contains iron that we need.

Ingredients:

- 5 big mushrooms (champignons)
- 1 big onion
- fresh or frozen spinach
- 500 g of chicken breast
- sliced cheese or grated one
- 1 package of frozen puff pastry
- seasonings and oil

Preparation:

1) Leave puff pastry to defrost for several hours.
2) Cut chicken, mushrooms, peel and cut onions.
3) Heat the frying pan, add oil and fry onion, mushrooms and chicken, add ragged spinach or frozen spinach to the frying pan, fry over high heat for 5-7 minutes until the liquid begins to separate.
4) Add favorite seasonings (salt, pepper, curry, basil, oregano, cumin and others, I added Armenian mixed spices), stir, leave to cool.
5) Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, oil baking form and lay the sheets of puff pastry on the bottom, making small side edges and join sheets together. Leave one sheet, cut it into 4 strips for decoration.
6) Put chicken with vegetables on the dough. Put the cheese on top. Put pastry strips on cheese.
7) Put in the oven, when puff pastry becomes gold-brown, then take it out.

The smell is just awesome! This pie is suitable for lunch, dinner or if guests are coming by.
